Sometimes this is done through lower quality resins, sometimes it is done through the loosening of their quality control. We work with smaller manufacturers who are not faced with these challanges and restrictions. Sure, everyone wants to make a profit. However, it is always the smaller companies who choose to place quality first in their business.

About the Plastic
All of the climbing holds we offer are manufactured with polyurethane resin. Of all the various resins used for climbing holds, polurethane offers the highest in strength and durability. In addition, polyurethane is also the safest for the environment and the production staff. Nearly 10 years ago, when our director began experiementing with urethane resins, he knew this would become the future of the climbing industry. Urethane holds are solid to the touch and will not flex under body weight. However, they are durable enough to allow for slight flexing when stressed. This virtually eliminates the chance of chipping or cracking, even from over-tightening or dropping. With the exception of minor color shifting that is common with all plastics left outside, urethane is not structurally damaged by weather, and is suitable for all conditions.

About the Texture
The texture of our holds will vary slightly with the manufacturer. However, overall it is in the medium range. It can be compared to 80 grit sandpaper, which is the perfect compromise between comfort and longevity.

About the Guarantees
We want you to be happy with your purchase. This starts with our careful product selection process to ensure the products meet our high standards. Upon receiving your climbing holds, you are welcome to inspect them. If they don't meet your needs, simply return them for a full refund. The holds must be un-used, in their original packaging, and returned within 30 days. For the safety of others, we can not accept returns on used holds. Sales are final on climbing gear, hardware, and padding. All of our climbing holds carry a warranty against breakage during regular usage.
